When I first started working on doing this hack, a lot of stuff was known, but all of it was technical. The real challenge in doing this hack wasn't the technical aspect of finding where the tiles and palettes are stored, and what the format for the level select text was. What made this hack hard to do was putting it together, and making a playable remake. The general knowledge is there, but a lot of specifics, like certain objects that aren't used much and weird inconsistancies in the tiles, were not mentioned.
In this section, I hope to create a comprehensive and useful resource for level designers, from general descriptions of levels to detailed explanations of things to watch for, and things to avoid. I also plan to cover level design, and things that aren't glitches, but will make your level no fun to play.
